Everlasting Memories Empty
PostSubject: Everlasting Memories   Everlasting Memories EmptyMon May 23, 2011 12:34 am

Pip's childhood home on the country side along with the forge is probably the only place that Pip can truly call home. This home holds some of the most important moments in his life. Some moments aren't ones that someone would want to keep including when Pip would be ruthlessly abused by his irresponsible and inconsiderate sister. However, this was also the home of the best friend Pip had in his entire life, Joe Gargery. Besides this, Pip is bestowed the opportunity to be educated into a gentleman paid for by an anonymous benefactor with the condition to not ask who the benefactor is. Pip is launched from his middle class life into a world full of experiences and a large amount of money. However, Pip doesn't forget about his treasured childhood home since he returns multiple times throughout the novel on several different occasions. This mainly consists of visiting Joe and Biddy before and after their marriage.
